Pinacoteca Benedicto Calixto Foundation
On December 13, 2012, the building was listed by the Santos Municipal Council for the Defense of Cultural Heritage - CONDEPASA, for its architectural representativeness, as the last of the mansions in the region from the golden age of coffee.

Art at the Pinacoteca Project
In 2024, the Benedicto Calixto Foundation Pinacoteca de Santos carried out the project "Annual Plan of the Benedicto Calixto Foundation - Art at the Pinacoteca", approved by the Rouanet Law - Pronac 233045, with the following program: Art exhibitions, Courses and Cultural Workshops, Concerts and Choral Singing training with an incentive grant, Awards, Lectures, Social Counterparts with visits by students from the municipal school system.
With the main focus on providing access to cultural art, offering free activities of the utmost importance for the intellectual, social and cultural development of the city of Santos/SP and the region.

Innovation and technology to relive the past
The Pinacoteca Benedicto Calixto Foundation is innovating and presenting interactive experiences between the public, the painter's works of art and the mansion using Augmented Reality and 360° Virtual Tour technologies.
Collection
The collection of the Pinacoteca de Santos has more than 200 canvases, divided into different artists. Currently, the foundation is presenting the long-term exhibition “De Cada Janela...” (From Each Window...), inaugurated in 1992, made up of 62 works by Calixto, which explore various themes throughout the painter's career.
